and members who are going through trauma and he strongly believes that participants will be exposed to the nitty gritty of dealing with traumatic situations among ministers and/or members of The Apostolic Church Nigeria.

In his opening speech, the General Secretary of The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN), Dr. Dare Ajiboye noted that the purpose of the meeting was to strengthen Trauma Healing work in The Apostolic Church Nigeria and encourage the Church to assume ownership of the programme. He charged them not to only learn but also impart the knowledge to their various Churches. He concluded by saying the Churches in Nigeria should be willing, obedient and cooperate with the Lord to work out holistic trauma healing programme, which will heal traumatized people in our communities.

1During the Healing Session, participants shared their traumatic experiences, and presented art expressions, skits and role plays, which were used to convey the knowledge across to them.

During the presentation of certificates, Pastor Awojide appreciated The Bible Society of Nigeria for introducing Trauma Healing to change their mentality about addressing issues of trauma and mandated the incorporation of Trauma Healing in The Apostolic Church programmes. On his part, Dr. Ajiboye implored the participants to allow pastors and Church members in their Areas who have been trained to facilitate Healing Sessions in their various Churches.
